Yesterday, I just came back from Petronas Eduquest Camp at UTP, tronoh, perak.. First of all, I want to dedicate my gratitude my my lovely parents (MAK & ABAH) , my family ,my supportive friends and last but not least my fellow teachers who encourage me to go there. (fren2 itu ; Saudara Syamsul,Saudara Irham, Saudari Bella, Saudari Hidayah, Saudari Izzah, Saudari Syifa, Saudari Adillah, Saudari Husna = kak cuna dan Saudara Adam + etc ) (teacher2 ; Teacher Harfidah, cikgu Faris, ayahanda Ardani, cikgu Azhar, cikgu Siti Hawa,ustazah Asyikin, cikgu rogayah, cikgu Hafiz, Ustaz Azli + abang kerani Sabda yg Dayah minat dulu tu)
>Thank a lot to them…< I’ve got a lot of experience that I think it would beneficial in my live.
The camp was held on 17th and 18th of April 2012 since I has been shortlisted to attend a camp for sponsorship in Bachelor in Chemical engineering at UTP. It was a gift from ALLAH when I’ve been selected to attend the camp as I know I’m not As Excellent As Other in Both Academic and Co- Curricular Activities. Even I was wondering why they choose me. TELL ME WHY? Maybe it just my LUCK!
Then, as early 5 am in the morning, my family and I headed to Tronoh, Perak. We decided to start our journey early in the morning because we worried problem may occur during the long journey (apporoximately 90 km). After I stepped on my feet in the UiTM Seri Iskandar land, I felt very miserable because I’ve got a lot of worries and problems in order to come here. As the applicant, we were needed to register at UiTM Seri Iskandar for our hostel. I was VERY VERY VERY THE WORRY when I registered because the night before I asked Saudari Salsabila and Saudari Siva about the registeration, both them said, they were very strict checking all those certificates, form, etc etc… = btw!!! I’m not a liar, okey? Just my feeling was totally having a very CURIOUS and “perasaan yang suka fikir bukan bukan” that why, I think they ( the registration people) would either mad on me or chased me back to my home BECAUSE I might incompleted the form in correctly order.
Praise to Allah, all my doubts went away as nothing bad happened.. <as I mention above> I walked happily to my hostel and I met Hijjah ( from Lepar Utara, Pahang ) and Halimatus (from Manjoi, Perak) > when I am writing this, I just realized the three of us have the SAME initial name ; H ; my name is Hamiza < Both of them are very friendly and talkative, just like me.huhu…
After settled down with all the blanket, clothes, pillow?, sheet. I bid my Farewell to my parents.. they would be sleep in other place near to UTP. Then, I was alone!! As Hijjah and Halimatus went away with their parents to a place that I didn’t know. On that time, I texted Saudari Hidayah, Kak Cuna and a few people. Huh, I didn’t have any mood to revise ( Phisics, Chemistry, Math ) eventhough I knew there would be A TEST Tonight…= macamana rupa nak meRevise tak sampai sehari ni =
At 11 am, the UTP buses have already waited for us ( the applicants ) in front of our hostel to go to UTP for Lunch, Zohor prayer and the welcoming remarks, STS corpotrate briefing . At 2.30 pm, the briefing started in Chancellor Hall and only ended about 4 pm.We would only back to UiTM at 5.30 pm. Then, I took opporturnity to look around the chancellor hall and UTP library. What can I said on that time, I felt like I’m at the overC as the chancellor hall and the library are totally awesome.. = masklumlah, saya budak jakunnn sikit =
Then, at 7 pm, again we headed to UTP again for answering Mathematics & Science Test (M&ST) @ Mathematics Test (MT) , dinner and solat. Fortunately, I found saudara Torres there, I taught I was the only survival from my school..haha.. (lol).
At 8.30 pm, the WAR was begun..
=M&ST= for technical applicants while =MT= for non- technical applicants
There are 30 question in total; 10Q for Physics, 10Q for Chemistry, 10Q for Math@ Addmath. You’re required to answer them all in one hour!!
What could I say is, “ I am really sorry I can’t answer the physics + Addmath + chemistry questions well ”
Then, we departed to UiTM at 10.30pm after listening a short briefing for the facilitators ( saya jumpa abang senior saya antara faccie UTP tu). They said we needed to get enough rest as tomorrow ‘s test is thougher that today. I slept early on that night as I was so tired, = penat gilaa = eventhought I know I would be interviewed tomorrow.
Early in the morning, again the UTP buses plus with the drivers were taking me and the other applicants to UTP to undergo Potentia J @ interview larh, English Placement Test (EPT) and Critical Reasoning Test (CRT).
= Potentia J= individual + group discussion interview =
My assessment group is B-6-E.. that is mean I would be interview in the morning and take EPT and CRT on the evening. J
At 8 am, I headed to Block B; the place that the Potentia J is held with the rest of Group A and B. it was nerve wrecking and mendebarkan..haha.. during I was waiting for my turn. At 9am, I met my team members (LOW, KEN, ASWINA, and AZRI).. three of them are coming from Perak except Azri, he’s from Klang…[KEN is totally handsome and very tall.. saje nak bagitahu..hehe] I glad my team members are nice and fluently talking in English = NOT like ME = then, we were given a case that we were required to solve. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the tittle.. oh my… = What is this, my heart is talking… = I just make a few point that I think reasonable and connected to the case.. the case is too hard, I think! As I am the last person who will be interview individually, I was thankful. At least I have plenty of time to practise and think..haha..= tapi tak membantu pon…haha.. NERVous gilaa.. IT’s MY FIRST TIME undergo an interview!!
Finally about 1 +++ pm was my turn… = it’s mean I got about three hours to think as lamaa gilaa tunggu = segala yang dirancang pun dah hilang ditelan masa yang berlalu. :/

13;25 hour; I knocked the door. There were two assessors in the room; a man and a woman. The man is from UTP itself while the woman is from PETRONAS.= actually my interview is bad ; so malu nak cerita..haha..=
Bla….bla…bla…… yeah!
then, the group discussion took place. I think the group discussion @ interviewed by group run quite smoothly eventhough all of us are not strangers..haha.. Alhamdulillah. I talk quite a lot too= konon, tak nak lah Nampak macam tunggul kayu..haha =
after took the lunch, we were going to take the EPT and CRT at the Chansellor Hall. Oh, what I can say about those test is, they are super killer questions which is actually the most right way to find the the best applicants.ONLY the best one could answer the question!! = saya? Pening jawabnya…. =
English Placement Test (EPT); 40Q, one hour ; is an English question such as rational close and comprehension..= hoho, some of those words are new to me and I never ever cross them in my life… = aigooo…
Then the Critical Reasoning Test (CRT) took place. CRT is divided in two sections. Vol 1 and Vol 2..
= BOTH are SUSAH GILAA; for those yang macam saya ni; minda tak kritis haha…=
VOL 1= 60Q ; 12 passages ; 4Q each…30 mins : that required us to answer whether it is A[Logic/True] or B[False/Xlogic] or C[Cannot Say]. Oh..my… when I was answering it, I just trust my first instinct= actually I couldnot define it whether it true or false. So, most of my answer are CANNOT SAY!! Haha… = memanglah soalan ni hanya yang hebat boleh jawab =
Then, I answered the VOL 2. It is tougher than VOL 1, my thought; at least VOL 1 there got word!! In Vol 2, there is NO single WORD or NUMBER!! There are Picture and Diagram!!!
In VOL 2;40Q; 20 mins; we are required to guess the next diagram for each question..
Fortunately, the facilitators taught how to answer it as some of us are not understand the test at all
= SAYA LAH TU = tak paham langsung..haha… =
after that, I gained a few ilham to answer it..haha.. I just answered them Happily and quickly as I goin BLUR again..
= Ape benda alah ni??? = and the time given is only 20 mins! In a nut shell, I think my IQ is so low. I can’t answer it..haha..
Then, we packed back to our HOME!!! Yeah, finally!!! All the test were gone!!! ALHAMDULILLAH!!
